WCLRF conducted a national conferences aiming to identify legal and juridical solution for combating sexual harassment against women in Afghanistan. In the conference, the participants have been invited from 15 provinces including Kabul and the reports of sexual harassment reports have been delivered by representative of five zones to the participants. Cultural beliefs, administrative corruption and lack of legal framework have been identified as key contributing reasons of sexual harassment by the speakers. Various achievements regarding sexual harassment have been discussed including: Drafting Anti-Sexual harassment regulation, suggesting to add an article in penal code, designing national policy of combating against sexual harassment, compiling two research reports, training manuals, and conducting training sessions for different categories of people.
